The particular light and the wild nature: Mallorca attracts creative minds like a magnet. One of those island artists is Pedro Flores. Entirely self-taught, he turns iron and stone into spectacular sculpture. His works range from miniature handbags to monumental pieces such as the well-known "window" on the promenade of Cala Millor.
Pedro finds his inspiration in everyday life. On his daily walks he spots particular stones and boulders that later come to life in his workshop. He became widely known for his stone handbags — some of the monumental ones greet travellers at Palma airport and, of course, at our space in Porto Cristo.
